Fmr. President Obama Just Showed Trump How to Address the Nation in Times of Crisis

Whenever disaster strikes in America, Americans can rely on their current president to post some of the most outrageous reactions that they’ve ever seen.  In the case of Las Vegas, Trump has proven that he still does not understand how to address the nation in times of crisis. However, our younger generations still have an exemplary leader to look up to, Barack Obama.

When Barack was in office, he was well aware of how terrible the gun laws are in this country. He worked tirelessly with his administration, fighting tooth and nail with the Republicans, in hopes of getting stricter gun control legislature passed in this country.

Unfortunately, he wasn’t nearly as successful as he had hoped to be.

He was our President during a handful of shootings, and each time, our brave POTUS made it clear that a change needs to come about before any of these tragedies can stop.

It’s asinine that any human would be against gun control. It just seems so obvious. But, “obvious” doesn’t mean much to a money-hungry Republican who’s pockets are routinely fed by NRA and gun-happy companies.

It’s sad.

And, while we hoped our current “President” would make a similar claim about the need for more in-depth restrictions on gun control, all he did was the obligatory “thoughts and prayers” type tweet.

What did Barack do? Well, he did what any real President would’ve done. He tweeted:

“Senseless” being the key word. All of these acts of violence are just that: senseless. And unless, these senseless government officials want to keep seeing innocent Americans lose their lives, they need to take action.

And in case you missed Trump’s reaction to Hurricane Harvey, look how Trump responded in comparison to Obama:

“Wow – Now experts are calling #Harvey a once in 500 year flood! We have an all out effort going, and going well!”

“Many people are now saying that this is the worst storm/hurricane they have ever seen. Good news is that we have great talent on the ground.”

Americans are appalled by Trump’s tweets, mainly his tweet that starts with “Wow.”  Instead of offering real solutions, he is gloating about the size of the deadly storm.

Fmr. President Obama showed up on Twitter to school Trump on how to be president:

“Thank you to all the first responders and people helping each other out. That’s what we do as Americans. Here’s one way you can help now.”

Twitter thanked Obama:

What is your reaction?
